Meet the Bodyworker - Fia

Fia Garvner Agoo

Transformational bodyworker

Fia Agoo is a dedicated practitioner of vibrational healing, bodywork, and personal transformation. With over two decades of experience, she has immersed herself in diverse spiritual traditions, gathering wisdom from esteemed teachers, mentors, and the ever-unfolding lessons of life.

Her journey into healing work began as a deep personal exploration—one that has taken her across many lands and cultures, shaping the way she holds space for others today. She has trained in Alchemy of Touch, Alchemy of Vitality, mindfulness guidance, and various yoga traditions, including Jivamukti, Shakti, and Yoni Shakti Yoga. Each of these modalities has deepened her understanding of the body-mind connection and the power of presence in the healing process.

Rooted in a belief that true transformation begins with a calm nervous system and a peaceful mind, Fia creates a sanctuary where movement, breath, meditation, and touch come together to restore balance. She offers a warm, nurturing space for others to reconnect with themselves, release tension, and access a deeper sense of well-being.

Having lived in many places and traveled far and beyond, Fia carries a broad perspective while staying deeply connected to her roots. Both of her grandmothers heralds from northern Sweden and now lives just outside Stockholm with her young son. Whether exploring nature, deepening her own studies, or embracing the joys and challenges of motherhood, she is always guided by an inner calling to live with authenticity, awareness, and love.

At our Flow like Water retreat, Fia will offer two types of sessions:

Alchemy of Touch

This technique is a transformational approach that weaves together myo-fascial release and subtle energetic channels to rejuvenate the body and mind, fostering a deep sense of relaxation and vitality. At its heart is the innovative 'Fluid Touch' technique by Tapesh Paradiso and Anouk Devi, which invites the body's energy to release and flow, creating a harmonious and pleasurable experience. This intertwines with 'Deep Tissue in Motion,' a sublime blend of deep pressure and fluid movements, guiding recipients to the very edge of pleasure and pain, where profound release and balance can be found.

Guided by the wisdom of Osho, this technique moves beyond conventional bodywork, seeking to touch the recipient on a deeper level, nurturing not only the physical being but also the soul. The Alchemy of Touch is a testament to the artistry and spontaneity of healing, aiming to ignite a profound sense of well-being and wholeness for both the practitioner and the recipient.

Alchemy of Vitality

The Hara represents the fireplace in your body. In Japanese medicine, it is considered the physical and spiritual center of your being. When this fire is low or out, the core of your vital energy cannot flow.

Everyone wishes to open the heart, yet it is truly the hara we should be engaging with.

By lighting up and regaining the fire energy in our hara once again, we create a solid grounding for the physical body, and allow it to rise through all the energy centers in the body in a healthy way. In this way, we open up and ignite the full capacity of our energy bodies, experiencing another quality of aliveness, power and health.

The techniques used in Alchemy of Vitality are rooted in the Chi Nei Tsang, a profound practice rooted in ancient Taoist traditions that focuses on the internal organs. It facilitates the release of energetic blockages and emotional stagnation, practitioners empower clients to reconnect with their innate capacity for healing and vitality, fostering a profound sense of wholeness and well-being.

"I will guide you on a journey of self-discovery and transformation, helping you to access and release deeply held patterns of tension and trauma. In essence, the Alchemy of Touch approach to Chi Nei Tsang embodies a philosophy of empowerment and self-healing, recognising that true wellness." - Fia
